DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME
The sequence of images are presenting photographic documentation throughout a twelve hour performance. A photograph of myself is made every hour whilst I, the artist records my own field of vision. Systematic forensic approaches are employed to observe and record these dual perspectives within a public space. Interests in ‘the back of head’ and ‘gaps’ and inconsistencies within imagery.
In documenting Daylight Saving Time I can mark the passage of real time and its effects on form. This optical experience will inherently impact me physically and emotionally, questioning our idea of the self and at a possible truth of existence.
