Clare Nattress is an artist, educator, writer and curator from York, UK. Her conceptual practice explores scientific discourse, the environment and climate, body, and liveness. Her works encompass live data visualisation, performance, photography, bookmaking, printmaking, sculpture and installation. Collaboration is a key element in her cross disciplinary work.
Clare became a recognised Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2016. She has been lecturing in Art & Design and Graphic Design for the past four years.
With strong interests in curation, Clare works as co-curator & writer at Kunsthuis Gallery in Crayke, North Yorkshire. With Curator and Owner Cecile Creemers, they have exhibited a number of shows with artists sourced from all over the world including USA, Australia, Lithuania, Sweden, Spain and South America.
